Описание вакансии

About us
We are a global HealthTech company. Our AI assistant for doctors processes over 2 million medical consultations per week across ~100 countries. The infrastructure runs on AWS and Azure, with Kubernetes (EKS) at its core. We operate in compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, and ISO27001.

We are looking for a Senior/Principal DevOps / Platform Engineer who truly owns a production platform in a high-load HealthTech environment, not just configures pipelines.

Your scope of responsibility: AWS (mandatory), Kubernetes/EKS (multi-region), Terraform/Helm, advanced CI/CD, observability, and security in a regulated environment.

This is a role where you set the standards for the entire platform: EKS cluster architecture, observability approach, release strategies and security guardrails, as well as collaborating with security/compliance teams.

Why Web3 experience is important for us (strong plus, not a hard must)
We are not looking for a blockchain developer, but for an engineer who has lived in an environment of distributed systems, high-availability, and "security first," where incidents are measured in money and reputation.
If you have maintained production infrastructure for DEX/CEX or custodial solutions (nodes, RPC, validators, wallets, indexers, key infrastructure), this will be a strong plus and is almost directly transferable to a medical platform with high reliability and privacy requirements.

Technology Stack

  • Clouds: AWS (mandatory), Azure (strong plus).
  • Orchestration: Kubernetes (EKS, multi-region, production-grade).
  • IaC & Packaging: Terraform (complex modules), Helm (charts, best practices).
  • CI/CD: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI (pipelines, secure releases, canary/blue-green).
  • Observability: Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/OpenTelemetry, well-designed alerts and dashboards.
  • Security & Compliance: K8s hardening, secrets management, audit, operating in a regulated environment.

What we offer

  • Annual salary of 150,000–180,000 USD (gross).
  • Fully remote work. Work hours aligned with US/Canada time zones.

A platform already operating at large scale, not a startup from scratch.A data-driven culture where changes are introduced gradually and predictably. We are looking for a long-term expert (2+ years): it's important that you live with the consequences of your architectural decisions, not hand them off after a year. Our AI already handles over 2 million consultations per week - your task is to ensure this number can grow multiple times without loss of predictability and reliability.

What you'll be doing

  • Define the platform's technical standards (Terraform modules, Helm charts, observability approach) that all product teams will use for the next 2-3 years.
  • Play a leading role in architectural decisions for platform scaling and passing audits (SOC2/ISO27001/HIPAA).
  • Manage multi-region EKS clusters, balancing performance, resilience, and security.Implement and automate security & compliance practices across all platform layers (IAM, RBAC, network/security policies, secrets management).
  • Build self-service tools for developers (service templates, secrets management, ephemeral environments) and reduce product teams' dependency on the platform.
  • Participate in on-call / incident management: investigating P1/P2 incidents, conducting postmortems, and eliminating root causes.

What we want to see in a candidate (must)

  • Hands-on experience in the production operation and development of infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes (preferably EKS, multi-region).
  • Deep proficiency in Terraform and Helm for managing long-lived systems (modules, migrations, code reviews).
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD (GitHub Actions / GitLab CI), including safe release practices (canary, blue-green, progressive delivery).
  • Setting up an observability stack (metrics, logs, traces) and alerting for incident diagnosis and meeting SLO/SLA.
  • Understanding of cloud and K8s security principles (IAM, RBAC, network policies, secrets management, DevSecOps approach).
  • Confident English at C1+ level: calls, documentation, and architectural discussions in English.

Strong plus

  • Experience in a regulated environment (fintech, healthcare, Web3 custody, banking, insurance).
  • Experience with secure, high-availability Web3 infrastructure systems:DEX/CEX, custodial solutions, operation of nodes/RPC/validators, indexers, services around protocols,on-call for such systems.
  • Practical multi-cloud experience (AWS + Azure).
  • Experience in platform engineering: internal developer portals, standards, self-service tools.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, GDPR, SOC2, ISO27001 standards.

Key mindset
You are more interested in the evolution and hardening of a platform (brownfield) than constant greenfield projects and rewriting everything every six months. You calmly troubleshoot complex incidents in distributed systems under load and address root causes, not just symptoms. You automate everything you can, not for the sake of toys, but to reduce risk and ensure predictable operation.
